Internet celebrity Andrew Tate continues to be in quite a bit of legal trouble, apparently. Less than a week after the former TikTok star had his home raided by Romanian authorities, those same authorities reportedly seized several high-value personal items, including cars and even the house he was living in.

Andrew Tate has made himself enough enemies with his behavior on social media sites to have people like Logan Paul want to get into the ring with the former UFC fighter. However, the recent incidents surrounding Tate have hit a new level after accusations from the Romanian DIICOT, the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, on human trafficking led them to raid his home. Specifically, the former TikTok star and his brother have been accused of kidnapping and exploiting six young women.

According to the Romanian website SpyNews, DIICOT seized assets owned by the pair while also reportedly freeing those six young women from the Tates' house. Among the assets detailed by the site are Tate's impressive car collection that includes a Buggatti Chiron, a Rolls Royce, two Ferraris, and a Porsche among others. The car collection is said to be valued at just under $5.3 million. DIICOT is also reported to have seized several different buildings in addition to the Tates' Romanian home, though the exact value of those buildings hasn't been released, a villa in Bucharest is valued at more than $7 million on its own.

While the pair are reportedly seeing some of their most valuable possessions seized by the Romanian government, they are also still detained by authorities. At the moment, it appears they will be jailed for at least the next 30 days. The pair's detainment has been cheered by many on social media but Tate and his brother do have their defenders, even among some of the most popular internet personalities. Those defenders include popular Twitch streamer Asmongold, who compared the situation to Martin Luther King in an attempt to caution people to get all the facts before condemning the Tates.

Other supporters of Andrew Tate are finding a bit of a backlash even when their shows of support are relatively vague. Banned Apex Legends players claim their only crime was typing "Andrew Tate" into team chats. Those actions have spurred more than a few people to discuss blacklisted terms in video game communities.

Reactions from those communities are not entirely surprising, considering how sensitive the situation around Andrew Tate was even before he found himself in this kind of legal trouble. The internet celebrity has been banned by several social media sites including Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram. He was also banned from Twitter before Elon Musk took over that site and reinstated him.
