While season one of Andor has come to an end without many of the cameos that fans have come to expect in other Star Wars Disney Plus shows, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be some major appearances by known characters in the second season of the show.

Andor focuses on the beginnings of the Rebel Alliance, so it is entirely possible that some major players in the Star Wars Universe could be turning up as the Alliance begins to form together into a much more major movement in the second season.

7 Bail Organa

Jimmy Smits As Bail Organa

It might be a far stretch to say that Obi-Wan Kenobi or Princess Leia is going to show up anytime soon in Andor. After all, the Rebel Alliance was already forming into a cohesive force by the time the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series brought Ewan McGregor’s Jedi Master into the fold. However, Leia’s adoptive father Bail Organa could easily appear.

Organa, played by Jimmy Smits, first appeared in Revenge of the Sith and was one of the few friendly faces left to the Jedi on Coruscant following Order 66. He is known to be heavily involved in the Rebel Alliance at one point, so it will be interesting to see if his initial involvement is shown in the second season of Andor, perhaps joining Mon Mothma in influencing the cause on Coruscant itself.

6 Ahsoka Tano

Rosario Dawson As Ahsoka Tano

Set for her own Disney Plus show, Ahsoka Tano is one of the few Jedi left by the time Andor begins. While no Jedi appears in the first season of the show, several of them could reasonably appear as the Rebel Alliance begins to form.

It would be interesting to see this infamous character, left in hiding following Order 66, appear in the show, as she has been a major tie between the animated and live-action shows in the Star Wars Universe. She never appeared in any of the live-action movies but could be an underground agent for the Rebellion as the cause continues to grow.

5 K-2SO

Alan Tudyk As K-2SO

Star Wars is famous for the consistent appearances of memorable droids, usually providing some comedic relief to the proceedings in almost every Star Wars adventure. However, Cassian’s companion in Rogue One, K-2SO, has not appeared in Andor Season 1.

While Andor did have an unfortunate run-in with some droids of a similar model, he has not yet managed to meet his future friend, previously played by Alan Tudyk. K-2SO was originally supposed to appear in Andor season 1, but as yet he is missing from the show. It seems more than likely that he will show up if season two brings the show to a close, as it will likely try to bridge much of the time Cassian spends in the depths of the Rebel Alliance.

4 Wedge Antilles

Dennis Lawson As Wedge Antilles

One of the best pilots that the Rebel Alliance ever had, Wedge is a significant character in the Star Wars Universe who just keeps managing to show up. He can’t be shown joining the Alliance in Andor season 2 because it was already shown in the animated Star Wars: Rebels series.

However, that shouldn't stop Wedge from showing up later in season 2, after the Rebel Alliance has truly formed and more large-scale battles are being waged against the forces of the Empire. It would be fascinating to see at least as a cameo considering how long Wedge has been a part of the Rebel cause in Star Wars media.

3 Galen Erso

Mads Mikkelsen As Galen Erso

It seems unlikely that Andor will introduce the protagonist of Rogue One, Jyn Erso. Having only met Cassian or gotten involved with the Rebel Alliance for the first time in that movie, she isn’t likely to be showing up. However, her father Galen is a major player for the Empire as he designs the Death Star for them, and could appear at some point in the show.

The kind of undercover work Cassian will be doing for the Rebel Alliance, alongside the fact that Galen was secretly trying to help the Rebels whenever he could, makes it easy for him to appear at some point in the show. Perhaps only for an initial meeting with Luthen or Mon Mothma, as he tries to give the Rebels his support for later.

2 Orson Krennic

Ben Mendelsohn As Orson Krennic

Many of the familiar faces in the Empire are unlikely to appear in Andor because of the low-level officers Cassian has been running into so far in season 1. Grand Moff Tarkin is unlikely to make an appearance, but somebody like the quickly rising Orson Krennic could as he continues his path to being the high-level imperial player that he is by Rogue One.

Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn, was a greedy player looking for acknowledgment and power in the Imperial Empire when first met, and though he was eventually defeated and ruined by the Rebels in that movie, his history as a major part of the Empire could be explored as Andor deals with other characters that would eventually appear in Rogue One.

1 Darth Vader

Daniel Naprous As Darth Vader

In no Star Wars media can it be ruled out that Darth Vader could appear. He produces the most major of moments in canon and is the face of the franchise for all time. While Andor has strayed far from the Jedi and Sith thus far, favoring the ground-level resistance fighters instead, Vader could be shown in a cameo role at some point.

The kind of undercover operations that Cassian could end up running for the Rebels in season 2 could lead him to the highest echelons of the Empire as the Rebel Alliance slowly grows bolder. With this in mind, an appearance by Vader himself cannot be ruled out.
