One of the most popular Twitch streamers on the platform is getting a bit fed up having to try and guess why she keeps receiving bans. Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa is now calling on Twitch to be quite a bit more transparent when it comes to the cause of someone being suspended or banned.

Amouranth is certainly not the first person to want to better explanations for when she or her colleagues get banned. When Dr. Disrespect, one of the most popular streamers on the platform, left Twitch after being banned for a mystery reason, he reportedly took months to find out what he had done that warranted the punishment. Others, who may not have faced such severe sanctions still tend to claim they have no idea why they've been banned, whether it's for a few hours, days, or weeks.

Twitch has started changing up how it deals with bans as the platform has started telling people the date of the stream they are receiving punishment for as well as the title of the stream. That can certainly help people like Amouranth narrow down the reasons for a ban, but they still aren't being told exactly what the cause of the punishment was.

For her part, Amouranth believes this particular approach is quite cowardly, and in a recent stream, she called on the streaming service to finally be more transparent about why it is issuing bans to Twitch streamers. However, not long after she called for more transparency, she made it clear that she doesn't believe those in charge of the service will ever do it, and she has a plausible idea why.

Arguably the platform's most popular female streamer, Amouranth believes that the reason Twitch handles things the way it does is because it doesn't want the accountability. She went on to say that the people that dole out the punishments don't want to be the ones who are in charge of enforcing their own policies in a consistent way.

It makes quite a bit of sense that Amouranth would have a problem with the way Twitch handles its governing policies. The streamer is no stranger to Twitch bans. However, she often claims that she never hears any kind of clarification on why she was getting punished for one action or another. The streamer went on to make it clear that she's always able to guess at what she might have done, but she'd rather get an answer one way or another.
