In some of the text messages that he allegedly sent, there were threats that he would waste their money if she didn't immediately respond to him. Amouranth said that he also threatened to leave her with $1 million and take the rest of their money with him.
After some radio silence, Amouranth returned to Twitch in a stream where she gave fans an update on the situation. In the return stream, Amouranth indicated that her husband was getting help for his behavior and that she had regained control of her finances. It was unclear if Amouranth would return to her grueling Twitch streaming schedule, but she has now announced that she is taking an indefinite break from content creation. Amouranth made the announcement on her official Twitter account, stating that she is not sure when she will be back.
Amouranth has a reputation for being one of the hardest-working Twitch streamers on the platform.
