Reality TV star Kim Kardashian found herself under fire recently for a controversial comment she made in an interview with Variety. In the interview, Kardashian said that her advice to women in business would be to, "Get your f****ing ass up and work," which understandably resulted in a great deal of backlash. After all, Kardashian was born into a rich family and lives a life of luxury that's not comparable at all to women and people in general who were not born with the same advantages.

While many have criticized Kardashian for her comment, popular Twitch streamer Amouranth has had a different reaction. "This resonates with me," Amouranth said in response to Kardashian's comment. Amouranth explained that "work ethic still gives an edge" and that "consistency counts." Amouranth acknowledged the criticisms that Kardashian had a massive head-start compared to other people due to being born to a rich family, saying that having rich parents "in a way" is like living life on easy mode because one doesn't have to worry about "bills or mundane things." The downside to this, according to Amouranth, is "it also robs you of the ability to feel as good about small victories."

Amouranth then contrasted herself with Kardashian, explaining that she grew up in a "quite poor" family that had a "negative networth" for her entire childhood and adolescence. According to the Twitch streamer, this upbringing allowed her to better savor her victories and build her confidence.

While Amouranth has her critics and controversies, no one can really knock her work ethic. It's been acknowledged that Amouranth is legitimately one of the hardest-working Twitch streamers there is, and that hard work translates to her making millions from the streaming site. Amouranth has used her Twitch fame to pursue other ventures as well, becoming one of the world's top-earning content creators in the process.

Some celebrities blow through their money instead of investing it responsibly, but that's not the case with Amouranth. Amouranth has spoken publicly about her many financial investments, having put money in a variety of industries. Some of the bigger investments Amouranth has tweeted about include when she invested $2 million into Google stock and when she bought multiple gas stations.

Amouranth has been banned from Twitch multiple times, and it's always possible that the next one could be the one that sticks. However, even if Amouranth were to be booted off the streaming platform, she's likely set for life.
