Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa might be changing the way she handles her content. Earlier this week, the content creator tweeted out that she's going to be changing the way she handles her Twitch stream, announcing the last hot tub stream

Controversy has surrounded Amouranth and other streamers after their hot tub streams started gaining popularity. Twitch eventually took action against her and some others by hitting them in the wallet. The company moved to remove ads from those streams that were using the hot tub streams that were deemed offensive. Amouranth is one of those that have been hit hard by Twitch taking that action.

The Twitch personality, whose "Just Chatting" streams are among the most popular on the platform, took to Twitter on Friday for her usual stream announcement. However, this time she had some news as well. She posted that it was time to finished what she'd started and that the Friday stream would be the last time she did one in a hot tub. Alongside the announcement, she included two photos. One was of Amouranth in a bikini. The other was of her in one of her Star Wars cosplay costume.

Some of her fans immediately noticed the tie-in to Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Others wondered aloud if Amouranth was really done with the hot tub streams. For her part, the post was not remotely open-ended. It appears to be in reaction to her channel no longer getting ads on it.

Earlier this week, Amouranth revealed exactly how much money she's losing. The demonetization of her channel could cause her to lose as much as $500,000 a year. While this isn't the entirety of her income, it's a big enough chunk of cash that she's openly talking about the hit to her income. The one good piece of news for the streamer is that taking the ads off her channel doesn't end all chances of her making money off her content. She's still able to earn off subscribers and followers.

Announcing she's stopping her hot tub streams isn't the end of the conversation. Amouranth doesn't believe Twitch will reinstate advertisements based on the tweet alone. She previously said that any chance at getting the advertisements back will need some more effort from her. She said that she'd need to have a conversation with the people in charge of the platform. It's yet to be seen if she is done with the hot tub streams for good, especially if she's unable to get the ads put back on her channel.
