It's safe to assume that not many were surprised when Sony announced 2020's hit social deception game Among Us would soon be hitting PlayStation consoles. The more surprising reveal was that Among Us on PlayStation would include some console-exclusive cosmetics based on PlayStation's own Ratchet and Clank.

With Among Us also coming to Xbox later this year, this surprise raises two big questions – could more console-exclusive skins be coming? And if they are, who will represent Xbox? No one knows yet, but here are some skins that would be perfect for Among Us on Xbox.

Master Chief

The obvious choice, Master Chief practically is Xbox. His iconic green helmet and armor would look right at home on any of the crewmates, and Among Us' premise suits him pretty well. A game about trying to root out an alien menace among a group of human sounds right up the Halo hero's alley. He's got plenty of options for pets, too. 343 Guilty Spark, a Grunt, or a tiny Flood Tadpole would all work pretty well.

Doom Slayer

For similar reasons to Master Chief, the Doom Slayer just fits Among Us' extraterrestrial setting. Imposters would probably get a kick out of this skin when they start ripping and tearing their way through the crew. For a pet, it's hard to imagine a better option than Doom's Cacodemon. An exclusive Doom skin could also be a clever way for Xbox to flaunt its recent acquisition of Bethesda.

Dovahkiin/Dragonborn

Even after nearly 10 years, the groundbreaking, influential Skyrim is still one of the most popular games out there. The Dovahkiin's twin-horned iron mask is iconic, as it was featured heavily in Skyrim's trailers and demos. The mask would make a great addition to the game's impressive collection of hats. It's only right that the Dragonborn get a tiny dragon pet should they make it in.

Marcus Fenix

Gruff, tough, and ready to rough it up with aliens, Gear of Wars' Marcus Fenix would be a solid addition to Among Us. Considering Gears of War 4 bumped him down to a supporting character and he's been there ever since, an Among Us skin could be a good way for Xbox to show its grizzled hero a little love. Crewmates would surely rock Marcus' iconic do-rag with some COG armor, and a Ticker would work just fine as his pet.

Banjo and Kazooie

There might not be a new Banjo Kazooie game coming anytime soon, but between joining Super Smash Bros. and receiving an amiibo, this classic duo has had it pretty good the past few years. It'd be great to see Xbox keep this streak alive by letting them join one of the other biggest games out there. Putting the prolific pair in Among Us on Xbox also seems like the perfect response to Ratchet and Clank joining the PlayStation version.

Blinx

This game gets joked about frequently, but many forget that Blinx: The Time Sweeper is actually pretty good, it just didn't sell well. With the game playable via backwards compatibility on all current Xbox consoles, now might be a good time for Xbox to pay a small tribute to its long-dormant franchise by letting it have a brief moment of fame on one of gaming's biggest stages. Blinx may seem like an obscure, absurd choice, but between the hectic gameplay and wacky cosmetics, Among Us is a game that thrives on absurdity.

Among Us is available now for mobile, PC, and Switch, with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions slated to release in 2021.
