Among Us players seem to be very consistent in their color choices, as InnerSloth has confirmed the most popular color choices via a post on the game’s official Twitter account. The interesting bit of info also reveals the least picked color choice, with the brown crewmate ranking exactly where Among Us players would expect.

Players can expect to see lots of red crewmates when Among Us' Airship map arrives, as the color ranks among the top of the “most popular colors” list. With the red crewmate being used in all the game’s promotional material and almost always appearing in Among Us matches, its spot certainly makes sense. Right behind the Red crewmate is the Black color, as the dark crewmate stands out well among the other options. Based on InnerSloth’s data, white rounds out the top 3 color choices.

Fans of Among Us may love playing in red, black, and white skins, but there seem to be three colors that players particularly dislike. The least popular crewmate in Among Us is lime, with the off-green color clearly being uninteresting to many players. The traditional green is also low on the pick rate charts, with multiple shades of the same color being unappealing to the game’s fanbase. In between the two green colors is the much-memed brown crewmate, confirming the legitimacy behind jokes on brown’s pickrate.

The source of many Among Us memes, brown has been widely regarded as an ugly color choice by survivors and imposters alike. That negative opinion on the crewmate has clearly spread, with the color now ranking as one of the least picked in Among Us. While the InnerSloth member tweeting out the pick rate list shares that brown is their color of choice, they are clearly in the minority, and the crying brown crewmate joins the “The More You Know” text in the image to make for a funny nod to the anti-brown memes.

With Innersloth revealing the top 3 and bottom 3 color choices, every color in between likely sees a fair number of picks. Blue, orange, purple, pink, and the other colors of Among Us are chosen at a fair rate, not doing as poorly as the shades of green or as well as the color red. Based on this data, fans of 2020’s most searched game like and dislike a handful of colors, picking and avoiding them consistently.

With InnerSloth in the mood to release data on the wildly successful indie game, it may not be long before more info is given on certain maps and Among Us pets, too. For now, though, at least players have had their suspicions confirmed regarding the pick rate of various colors.
