At the beginning on August, Fall Guys was released and took the gaming community by storm. The battle royale game became incredibly popular, taking over social media with memes, and appearing in many Twitch streams as well. However, Fall Guys seems to have taken a backseat to Among Us in September.

While Among Us has been around for a few years, it was relatively unheard of. When Twitch streamers such as Pokimane began to play the game, it saw a widespread increase in use, even overloading the servers before the developer increased the number of rooms players can use. However, this increase in Among Us memes and players has taken away some of the attention that Fall Guys initially had after its release.

Some gamers have seen this shift in attention as a competition between the two titles. Despite this, the developers of these games haven't commented on the Indie game's recent success compared to Fall Guys. To make up for this, fans have displayed how they think the interaction between the two games would go with memes on social media platforms. This particular meme uses the popular format from Avengers: Endgame, changing up a line fit with a current running Among Us joke.

The Electrical Room in The Skeld map is one of the most feared places in the game and the source of many jokes on social media. The deflection that the Among Us character demonstrates also gives an example of how the Imposter Debates happen, which can be a meme in and of itself. Memes like this have become very common online and often feature crossovers from games, such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Dangan Ronpa.

Despite fan perception that Among Us is taking the gaming spotlight from Fall Guys, the Mediatonic game is still doing very well for itself. According to Steam sales for the past week, the battle royale game is still ranked second. Even though the deception-based game is still ranking number one on Steam, Fall Guys is still being played in large numbers and streamed by big names like Ninja.

Both games have generated a massive amount of memes online, showing the large communities these games have created. As time goes on, it doesn't seem like the Fall Guys and Among Us memes will fall off, and fans can look forward to more hilarious and relatable content on social media.

Among Us is available on PC and mobile devices.
