Two of the biggest streamers in the world may be getting ready to play one of the surprise hits of 2020. Dr Disrespect returned to streaming and has been active, and he recently hinted at teaming up with PewDiePie yet again, this time for an Among Us stream.

Among Us has been a huge hit this year, a game that launched in 2018 but found unusual success in 2020. The social PC and mobile game has expanded even beyond gaming with the likes of Fortnite or Fall Guys as a pop-culture hit. The memes never seem to stop for Among Us, and the game can be played competitively or casually among friends. According to Dr Disrespect, however, he hasn't even played the game yet. But he may try it soon.

A stream of two of the biggest content creators would be good for Among Us. Dr Disrespect was one of the biggest streamers on Twitch when he was banned earlier this year, but PewDiePie is even more popular than basketball star LeBron James, according to a report. The two have already steamed Fall Guys together, 2020's other breakout video game, so Among Us would be a natural fit.

During a stream, Doc told his viewers that he'll play Among Us with PewDiePie next week. However, he also claimed that it's up to the fans to make that happen, which could mean that no plan is set in stone at all yet. Two Time, as he calls himself, often thinks of ideas live on stream, and those thoughts can be taken out of context. He also tends to troll his viewers a bit. All of that, in combination with Dr Disrespect's WWE-style personality, could mean that the Among Us stream will not happen after all.

One of the content creator's latest teases involves a gigantic holiday video game, as Dr Disrespect hinted that he could be in Cyberpunk 2077. That would certainly be a monumental feat for the streamer, and something that fans would be giddy about. But that, perhaps like this Among Us idea, could simply be Doc toying with his fans for some harmless fun.

Among Us may be a perfect game for Doc for streaming purposes. Although he tends to play shooters, and has a lot of success in battle royales, his personality could shine in the slower-paced and methodical who-dun-it party style game. PewDiePie and he could provide some good laughs to fans of both streamers.

Among Us is available now on mobile and PC.
