Big things are on the way for Among Us fans, as InnerSloth teased that there are more surprises in store for the game that have yet to be revealed.

While no details have been announced regarding what's in store, the developer did tease on Twitter that all will be revealed soon, with more content planned for Among Us in December.

Previously, InnerSloth released several new updates involving purchasable hats and pet companions for players to travel with while playing the game, including a new pet exclusive to Twitch viewers who viewed participating Twitch Rivals streams. The Twitch pet is designed around the streaming service's logo and is only available to earn for a limited time.

December is already a big month for the game, as a new map for Among Us will be revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow night. InnerSloth has teased that the new map will be significantly influenced by the developer's other game released this year, The Henry Stickmin Collection, a mini-game collection that's host to several Newgrounds style mini-games.

Among Us is one of 2020's most popular games, with the game remaining on Twitch's top 10 streamed games for several months over the course of 2020. Among Us has become so mainstream that US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Canadian MP Jagmeet Singh streamed Among Us with several notable Twitch and YouTube influencers. All told, the livestream raised $200,000 for charities, aimed at assisting those affected by COVID-19 in a multitude of ways.

Despite the game's popularity, many fans are still hoping for new features to be added to Among Us that can help with some smaller issues many players are having with the game's growth. One such addition would be the inclusion of proximity-based in-game voice chat, where players would be able to hear each other within a certain range. Currently, players are using third-party software to add this element to the game, which adds a whole new layer of challenge and depth for imposters to navigate

In an effort to support more languages and reach out to more players, InnerSloth is currently working on an update that will support more languages in Among Us across the game's UI, including French, German, and Portuguese. While no date is set for when the update will release, it's possible the language patch could be one of the additions to the game this month.

Among Us is available on PC and mobile devices.
