Ryan Murphy's new project, American Horror Stories, has added some big names to its roster. While incomplete, the announced cast features a few familiar faces from American Horror Story and many new ones.

American Horror Stories is a spin-off of Murphy's 10 season FX series American Horror Story. Unlike American Horror Story, Murphy's new horror series will not air on FX, but will instead premiere on Hulu.

In a teaser trailer to promote American Horror Stories, Murphy gave horror fans a glimpse of who they can expect to see on the series. Among them are famous names like Danny Trejo and Grease Live's Aaron Tveit. Joining them are Belissa Escobedo, Kyle Red Silverstein, Amy Grabow, Gavin Creel, Ashley Martin Carter, Kaia Gerber, and Nico Greetham. Furthermore, American Horror Stories will feature Sierra McCormick, Paris Jackson, Outer Banks' Madison Bailey, and Marvel's Runaways stars Virginia Gardner and Rhenzy Feliz.

Along with those faces, fans can expect to be terrified by a few familiar faces. American Horror Story veterans Matt Bomer, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, Billie Lourd, and Charles Melton have been named to return for the spin-off as well. Joining them are Pose's Dyllón Burnside and Glee's Kevin McHale. Over the years, Murphy has worked as a producer on both Pose and Glee.

With this being only a portion of the cast, American Horror Stories is already off on the right foot. By including a handful of American Horror Story vets, fans of the original series will tune in to see what sinister roles they bring to life this time. With American Horror Stories being a spin-off of that series, the new faces Murphy has brought in will breathe fresh life into the American Horror Story franchise and, perhaps, pick up many new fans along the way. Now that it will stream exclusively on Hulu, with rising popularity in streaming services, it has the potential to do very well.

While the announced cast does not include fan favorites like Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, the pair are expected to appear in the tenth season of American Horror Story: Double Feature. Plus, Paulson has also confirmed that she will direct an episode of American Horror Stories. With many cast members still to be announced, it is unclear who may make an appearance alongside the already large cast. If there's one thing fans know about Murphy, it's that American Horror Stories will be something to keep the lights on for.

Stream the first two episodes of American Horror Stories through FX on Hulu on July 15, 201.
