Although Intel has now entered the GPU arena, AMD and Nvidia are still the two major tech companies when it comes to graphics cards, with the latter being just ahead of the former. While team green may be looking to launch its Ada Lovelace RTX 40-series this September, after a supposed delay, team red is closing the gap with its RDNA 3 architecture. Both will be battling it out for market supremacy once again, and it seems as though there may be another Navi product in the works.According to known leaker Greymon55, as spotted by Videocardz, AMD may be prepping a Navi 3X GPU in its upcoming RDNA 3 range. Details are based off leaks at the moment, but they seem to suggest that this mystery card will be more powerful than the others that have been mentioned in the past. Allegedly, it will feature 128 compute units, 16,382 stream processors, 16 shader arrays, and more that puts it ahead of the other Navi products. It also could launch sometime in 2023.RELATED: Next Steam Deck Device Could Be Powered by AMD’s RDNA 3 GraphicsObviously, it goes without saying that these are just speculations, and while leaks have been known to be correct in the past, it's worth holding back any judgments until official confirmation. AMD may be launching RDNA 3 this October at the earliest, which could put it slightly behind its biggest rival by at least a month. However, even if the dates are accurate, or as accurate as they can be, it's likely that team red will want to see that it gets its upcoming graphics cards onto shelves around the same time that Ada Lovelace makes an appearance.

As with AMD, there have been plenty of rumors about Nvidia's upcoming RTX 40 range, a lot of which has been speculating on how hot some of the hardware will run. As this GPU generation draws to a close over the next few months, more and more rumors are going to be coming in, so it's likely that the information doing the rounds currently could well change.

On top of beating out its biggest rival, AMD will also have to contend with the newcomers. With Intel just launching its Arc desktop cards, though only in China for now, there will be more competition for both tech giants to go up against. However, given that Intel's upcoming GPU is current gen, the other two may not have so much to worry about and can concentrate more on keeping on top of the industry instead.
