Nvidia lifted the veil off its GeForce RTX 3000 series of graphics cards this week, and the specs are impressive. The way Nvidia puts it, these could mark the biggest step forward for graphics technology in decades, so people are curious to see how competing tech company Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will respond.

However, AMD has instead branched out into the realm of man-powered transportation. It has been discovered that the company, one of the premiere specialists in high-end computer processors, has added AMD-branded bikes to its fan shop, previously home to caps, shirts, sweaters, stickers, and similar items. Needless to say, this is a bit of a step up.

Right now, fans have two bikes to choose from. There’s the AMD Custom Cruiser, which lacks any gears and only has a coaster brake (used by pedaling backwards). Those who want a more heavy-duty device can go with the AMD Custom Mountain Bike. In addition to a dual-suspension frame, this model sports 21-speed gears, twist-grip index-shifting, and linear-pull brakes. It might not be as technically advanced as, say, AMD's new Radeon RX 5300 entry-level GPU, but it's still impressive for a fan shop item.

Both bikes are available for shipping within the U.S. for $299 (plus a $50 shipping charge), and come with a few color options for the frames and tires. AMD has also begun teasing its next big announcement to follow up Nvidia’s RTX 3000 unveiling, by way of a cryptic Easter egg hidden in a custom AMD-themed Fortnite map.
