If there's one thing that gamers love, it's getting a good deal on a new game. While there's pretty much always some type of deal going on in the gaming world, Amazon has just introduced a sale on some brand-new releases, as well as some older titles. This includes the horror game Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, which just released a few days ago and earned a respectable score in our Man of Medan review. For those that have been holding out for some new games, there are a few here worth checking out.

Of the games on sale, there are a few standouts. The aforementioned Man of Medan is arguably the hottest new game on sale, though there are other titles in the line up that aren't horrible deals either. For instance, The Collection of Mana bundles the first three games of the classic Mana series together for the Switch, and just released on August 27th. For those unimpressed by this list of games, there is also an Amazon Xbox sale currently, so there may be something worth picking up there.

  • Collection of Mana (Switch) $33.84
  • Terraria (Switch) $24.88/ 17% off

The games aren't all massively discounted, but it's still nice to get a few bucks off here and there - especially for those that are looking to pick up multiple games from the list. It's certainly a nice perk for those that had been waiting for reviews to come in for a few of the games, as they now know what to expect, and get the games at a discount. For those not looking to spend any extra money, Sony did recently announce the free PlayStation Plus games for September.

Now that September has arrived, there are going to be plenty of new games headed onto each platform, so many games from earlier this year will likely be heading onto sale soon. Plus, the holidays are right around the corner, so there will be plenty of opportunities to score some cheap games over the course of the next few months. Here's hoping for some Buy One Get One Sales to keep our wallets somewhat intact.
