Amazon is giving away some free Hearthstone packs to players through Prime Gaming. Considering other campaigns Blizzard has run through Prime Gaming recently, this might not be the last Hearthstone loot players can get for free through their subscription to Amazon.Last month, Prime Gaming gave away a random Epic card to Hearthstone players with Amazon Prime. This is similar to previous giveaways Hearthstone has done with Amazon, such as the Legendary cards and Standard packs it handed out over the course of several months last summer. Unfortunately, this campaign ended on April 19.RELATED: Hearthstone Reveals Rewards Track for Festival of LegendsHowever, Hearthstone almost immediately began a new Prime Gaming giveaway shortly after. Players can claim three free Standard Hearthstone card packs from now until May 17 as long as they have an Amazon Prime account–including a free trial.

Evidence suggests this won’t be the last Hearthstone item given away through Prime Gaming in the near future either. World of Warcraft is also giving away the Big Battle Bear mount from the old TCG via Prime Gaming. What’s more, Amazon revealed more WoW collectibles would be offered every month for the next year. Considering Hearthstone has followed suit the past two months, it may be planning to do the same.

Oddly enough, Blizzard has not advertised this Prime Gaming promotion at all. At press time, Hearthstone has not mentioned the free Prime Gaming loot on any of its social media sites. While long-term Prime Gaming campaigns usually have a loose schedule associated with them, the Hearthstone page does not have one. Unless it decides to create one, players won’t know when or if to expect new Prime Gaming drops until after each individual Hearthstone campaign ends. This time, players are being kept guessing as to if a new Prime Gaming drop will arrive each month.

Hearthstone just began the Year of the Wolf, which rotated the Forged in the Barrens, United in Stormwind, and Fractured in Alterac Valley sets out of Standard, meaning these free packs pull from a smaller, more recent pool of cards. The Festival of Legends set also recently dropped, bringing with it an exciting new set of music-themed cards. The card set is still quite fresh, so players can expect Hearthstone to adjust under- and over-performing cards in an upcoming patch. With a possible trove of Hearthstone treasures awaiting via Prime Gaming, now is a great time for both old and new players to log in and rock out.

Hearthstone is available now for Mobile and PC.
