The free games available via Amazon Prime in October have been leaked, and the latest titles could include Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, and Total War: Warhammer 2. Alongside PlayStation Plus, Amazon's Prime Gaming is another subscription service that allows its members to gain access to a few new titles for free every month. Lately, there have been some major releases being given away for free, such as Assassin's Creed Origins, which dropped in Amazon Prime Gaming's September deal.

Formerly known as Twitch Prime, Amazon Prime Gaming has become an increasingly popular way to access games, and it's included with a regular Amazon Prime subscription. Similarly to the Epic Games Store, which attracts new users by giving them a free game or two every week, Amazon Prime Gaming has dropped some AAA releases to its user base. Rather than offer one or two games a week, though, Amazon Prime Gaming's model adds several titles every month.

With September coming to a close, many are expecting an official reveal of Prime Gaming's free October titles soon. However, this information has already been leaked by billbil-kun, who has previously given out information on PlayStation Plus' monthly games and whose leaks have proven reliable in the past. According to billbil-kun, Amazon Prime Gaming's monthly games for October will be Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer 2, Glass Masquerade, Loom, Hero's Hour, and Horace. This marks one less game given away than in September's monthly freebies, but one more than the lineup for August.

Fallout 76 is the latest title to be released in Bethesda's post-apocalyptic series of RPGs, and while it faced heavy criticism at launch, updates have improved the game significantly, resulting in a "Mostly Positive" review rating on Steam at the time of writing. Unlike other Fallout titles, Fallout 76 largely revolves around multiplayer interaction, giving fans a chance to fight through the nuclear wasteland together. It has also seen the release of some major DLCs, including The Pitt expansion which came out this year.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is the sequel to 2014's critically acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, which was part of Amazon Prime Gaming's free titles for September. Picking up the story of Talion and Celebrimbor, Shadow of War allows for some epic-scale battles as the player controls their own orc army in an attempt to defeat Sauron before he can ascend to power once more.

Another game that allows for large-scale warfare is Total War: Warhammer 2. Rather than focus on third-person combat, Total War: Warhammer 2 gives the player a much more strategic perspective as they manage their empire and fight battles to secure their lands. These are just a few of the seven games reportedly coming in October, which are likely going to keep Prime Gaming subscribers busy until November rolls around.
