2014's Pac-Man Museum brought nine classic Pac-Man titles together, and gave these incredibly influential games new life on the Xbox Arcade. In just a few months, Pac-Man Museum+ might just do the same, when it hits Xbox Game Pass and other consoles in May. Things are bigger and better than ever, though, with Pac-Man Museum+ including a whopping 14 games from Pac-Man's four-decade long history.

Along with some of Pac-Man's best arcade outings, Pac-Man Museum+ also compiles a few of the yellow blob's best console offerings, with some Xbox Arcade, and even a PSP game being thrown into the mix. Players will be able to access all of these iconic games through a virtual arcade, which they can customize with unlockable cosmetics that can be bought by playing the games.

Pac-Man Museum+'s Arcade Games

Pac-Man Collecting Dots

Pac-Man Museum+ features a total of seven games that were originally developed for arcade use. The first of which is of course 1980's Pac-Man, the classic that started it all. It seems pretty likely that just about every gamer has played the original Pac-Man at least once in their life, so players should have a good idea of what's in-store with this particular arcade offering.

1982's Super Pac-Man is included in this compilation. Being Namco's take on a direct sequel, Super Pac-Man retains the same general gameplay formula of its predecessor, but does switch up the objectives a little. Players will need to collect keys, so they can open sections of the map and eat the fruit inside.

A direct sequel to Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal uses essentially the same gameplay mechanics, but also includes an AI assistant named Mil, who brings fruit to the center of the screen. 1984's side-scrolling platformer Pac-Land is also present in this collection, acting as a nice change of pace from the rest of the games on offer.

Another slight change of pace, 1987's Pac-Mania takes the classic maze-chase gameplay, and gives it a new isometric angle. Pac-Mania also gives Pac-Man the ability to escape ghosts by jumping over them.

Jumping forward almost a decade, the next arcade offering in Pac-Man Museum+ is 1996's Pac-Man Arrangement. This game is basically a remake of the original, with near-identical gameplay, but a significant graphical and audio overhaul. This arcade version should also include a two-player mode.

The most recent arcade game included in Pac-Man Museum+, 2011's Pac-Man Battle Royale sees up to four players trying to compete to earn the highest score. In single-player, this game is just a classic arcade Pac-Man game, but in multiplayer, Pac-Men can eat each other when powered up.

Pac-Man Museum+'s Console Games

Championship Edition 2 maze gameplay

On the console game front, Pac-Man Museum+ brings over another seven classic titles. The first of which is 1993's Pac-Attack, a falling-tile puzzle game in which players match rows of blocks and ghosts to clear a stage, similar to Tetris.

1995's Pac-In-Time is included in the mix, bringing another side-scrolling platformer to the table. Despite just being a re-skin of the developer's previous Fury of the Furries title, Pac-In-Time is a pretty solid entry in the franchise with a pleasant cartoon-y art style and tight platforming mechanics.

Next up is the PSP version of Pac-Man Arrangement, which is almost identical to the arcade version, but lacks the 2-player component. 2007's Xbox Arcade classic Pac-Man Championship Edition is also included in this collection, bringing the original Pac-Man arcade experience into the modern age of HD graphics and sound.

The 2007 Wii game Pac-Motos makes an appearance, where players will need to knock all the enemies off the stage to proceed. Another 2007 Wii game, Pac 'n Roll Remix is also bundled in here, being a port of the Nintendo DS original. The console port of the mobile endless runner Pac-Man 256 marks the final game in the Pac-Man Museum+ collection.

Pac-Man Museum+ will release on May 27 for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
