FromSoftware is known for making punishingly difficult games. Elden Ring is no different, and director Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that he felt “apologetic” towards players who felt that the games are too hard. The challenging nature of these titles led to the birth of a new genre, and many consider Dark Souls to be one of the most influential games of all time.

Additionally, these games have plenty of hidden secrets, and it’s incredibly easy to permanently miss out on weapons or equipment. As a result, it can be quite difficult to get all achievements or trophies in a FromSoftware title. Some fans may have to start the game all over again if they missed a particular weapon before it gets lost forever, and they are usually required to beat tough post-story bosses to get all the achievements. FromSoftware games also have multiple endings which often require multiple playthroughs, but a dedicated fan proves that this feat is not impossible.

Faisal_alwaal uploaded an image showing that they had unlocked all the Xbox achievements in recent games released by FromSoftware. This includes Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring. It’s a big achievement for any fan to get the maximum possible gamerscore in a FromSoftware title, but Faisal takes it to the next level by getting 1000 Gamerscore in all of them. PlayStation exclusives Bloodborne and Demon’s Souls are missing from this list.

Comments are filled with players congratulating Faisal, and one fan is even offering to lend them a PS4 to play Bloodborne. Judging by other comments, Dark Souls 2 seems to be the hardest game for achievement hunters, and Sekiro also needs a minimum of 2 playthroughs. Faisal later mentions that Elden Ring and Sekiro were their favorite games from this list.

While some have defeated Elden Ring’s final boss, others are still exploring The Lands Between even after playing for more than 100 hours. It’s filled with easy-to-miss content, but a lot of the optional dungeons are not required for getting the full 1000 Gamerscore in Elden Ring. The game has multiple endings that all have achievements tied to them, but it doesn’t take too long to beat the main story on subsequent playthroughs, and players can also use save-scumming techniques to get them all in one go.
