Fans have been waiting a long time to get their hands on Age of Empires 4, as the real-time strategy series hasn't had a numbered release in quite a while. Age of Empires 4 will launch for PC on October 28, 2021. Is Age of Empires 4 on Game Pass?
Age of Empires 4 will be available via Xbox Game Pass, but not for Xbox consoles, only for PC players. In fact, Age of Empires 4 isn't coming to consoles anytime soon, as Microsoft has yet to confirm a solid release date for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S versions. Considering that the final PC release date for Age of Empires 4 was shown during Microsoft's 2021 E3 presentation, it would make sense for the company to reveal the console release date during one of its streamed presentations or via a surprise trailer drop.
And if Age of Empires 4 also comes to Xbox Game Pass on consoles, it could turn out to be a good reason for people to subscribe to Microsoft's service.
