Awakened Heroes in AFK Arena are some of the most expensive and time-consuming heroes to build. For this reason, most players only focus on one or two. What makes them so difficult to build is the need for Time Emblems, which can be obtained through quests or by purchasing one per day in the shop for 500 Diamonds.
After following the lengthy process of obtaining an Awakened Hero in AFK Arena, players will want to be sure they've invested in the best one. This is especially true for F2P players who are not interested in making an investment. Those who are F2P can still ascend one to two heroes, but it will take significantly longer than players who are not. While there are currently several Awakened Heroes to choose from, there are some that are better than others. These are the best ones to choose from for players to get the most from their investment and the best results from their gameplay.
5 Awakened Belinda
For players who need a significant damage dealer, Awakened Belinda knows how to deliver. She overrides DEF and Magic Resist. However, she is relatively squishy, so it's best to keep her off the frontline. Her Awakened Skill allows her to astronomically boost her energy recovery and damage. Belinda often pairs well with Raine because Raine is constantly recovering her energy. This means Raine is always blessed with the Blaze of Glory effect.
She can also boost many of her own stats, including CDA, Crit, and ATK Rating, which allows her to be one of the best choices for the Cursed Realm. In Treasure Scramble she's a hit, especially when paired with Raine and Ezizh. When in Campaign mode, she can stack energy recovery supports to become a force to be reckoned with.
4 Awakened Brutus
Awakened Brutus is one of the strongest Awakened Heroes in every currently available mode of the game. He deals extensive damage in the Cursed Realm while managing enemies to prevent the death of his companions. Additionally, he makes an excellent asset in Treasure Scramble and Temporal Rift, regardless of who his companions are.
There is no better farmer out of all the other heroes than Awakened Brutus when it comes to the Abyssal Expedition or Hunting Fields. He is absolutely destructive to his enemies despite having lower relics. Because he lacks scaling and utility, he is better in a solo unit than in a team. Awakened Brutus is also quite useful for his many skills, including immunity to first fatal damage, ability to CC enemies, Mountain Shields, 30% Damage Reduction buff, and more.
3 Awakened Baden
Awakened Baden is an excellent choice due to his seven instances of death immunity, which is enabled when Baden's Ultimate activates a clone. Additionally, he can counter all enemy healing by transferring the healing they receive into his inflicted damage, causing their energy loss.
In Abyssal Expedition and Hunting Fields, Awakened Baden makes an excellent farmer and solo unit. He's not the best for a team unit in either mode. In Treasure Scramble, he has an excellent win rate among Awakened Heroes.
2 Awakened Thane
Awakened Thane is incredibly powerful with his Winds of Fury skill, which he can easily follow up with other skills that inflict insane amounts of damage. In the process of executing these attacks, he's nearly immune to Control Effects unless the enemy gets right on top of him. Because of this, he's an awesome asset in Treasure Scramble, destroying enemy companions before they have a chance to act.
In Temporal Rift, he's also an excellent option because he's capable of dealing with the hardest enemies, shutting down their damage, and being immune to many of their attacks. He is an excellent farmer in Abyssal Expedition and Hunting Fields. The only downside is that Awakened Thane can be on the squishy side and lacks synergy with a group, making him better suited to solo. Additionally, he's not the best choice for Cursed Realm, as players will struggle to use him in that mode.
1 Awakened Solise
The best choice for F2P players is Awakened Solise. She is an excellent support hero, offering 30% Damage Reduction and 40% ATK Rating buffs, making her invaluable in the Temporal Rift. At M30, she unlocks an ability that makes her immune to death two times, which massively increases her ability to survive in battle.
Awakened Solise becomes invaluable after this point because she also develops the ability to grant her allies a 35% Damage increase buff. Additionally, her speed in using her buffs is dramatically increased, boosting the tankiness of all allies. With her healing abilities and additional buffs, she makes the most versatile Awakened Hero players can choose to build. Solise is the most well-rounded, flexible hero that has excellent utility, which makes her the ideal hero to awaken first.
