The crossover between professional wrestling and nerdery of other sorts is broad. It's great to see professional wrestlers embracing this shared love of video games, comics, and even Dungeons & Dragons, but AEW wrestler Brandon Cutler takes the gimmick to another level. Cutler is unapologetically a Dungeons & Dragons fan. His entrance music even chants "TPK," a DnD term for Total Party Kill. But the latest addition to Cutler's gimmick may be the most impressive yet, as his wardrobe receives an epic upgrade.

Cutler revealed his new ring kit on his Twitter account, debuting a brand new jacket for him to wear in his AEW match entrances. The jacket features a cowl and broad shoulders made from a seemingly dragon-scaled fabric, with several colored tails hanging from the waist. Each tail features a depiction of a dragon, a symbol of the chromatic dragonflight for which its color represents. And as a whole, it serves as a tribute to the evil queen of the chromatic dragons, the 5-headed dragon goddess Tiamat.

The jacket is awesomely nerdy and perfect for Cutler's AEW gimmick, which was already shown to be a Dungeons & Dragons fanatic. According to Cutler, the new jacket was made entirely by his wife, Denise Cutler. Cutler's an elite seamstress and does a ton of work for AEW, including Evil Uno of the Dark Order's jacket and Kenny Omega's awesome Undertale cosplay in which took the ring dress as Sans to Toby Fox's music. Denise and Brandon are a self-described married "couple of dorks" and are elevating AEW with their talent.

Brandon Cutler actually debuted the new jacket during the November 27 AEW show last week in Chicago. However, Cutler was part of the show's Dark Matches, fights that take place off of TV. It wasn't until the Dark Matches were published yesterday as part of AEW Dark's Youtube series that the jacket and its inspiration were more widely shared.

Between Brandon Cutler's Dungeons & Dragons gimmick, Kenny Omega's love of video game-themed entrances, and much of AEW's adoration for fabulous costumes, Denise Cutler is certain to be very busy for the foreseeable future. And in turn, AEW is going to be a very friendly place for nerds and dorks alike. It's exciting to consider what any given AEW wrestler might walk out in next, though it'll be tough to compare to a jacket made as a tribute to the goddess Tiamat.
