For fans of all things '90s, a brand new game has just been announced by Graffiti Games and Guin Entertainment. Adventures of Chris is headed to the Nintendo Switch and PC soon.

Created in an animation style that mimics the hand-drawn look of '90s cartoons, Adventures of Chris is a Megaman meets Captain Planet 2D platformer that looks to be a combination of silly and fun, just like much of the entertainment from the decade it is based on. The game takes place in 1995, the same year Rugrats, X-Men (which in turn saw plenty of video games based on the show and comic)The Magic School Bus, and more.

The game has been revealed with a goofy trailer that showcases some of the story, gameplay, and comedy of Adventures of ChrisOld school '90s games are known for their challenge and charm, but Adventures of Chris will have multiple difficulty levels, including "Ridiculously Easy," and "Hard for No Reason."

The game stars Chris, a plump nerdy-looking fellow who has to whip out an inhaler every so often. Apparently the world has been taken over by ninja cats, Rambo-style penguins, and more. The last hero perished, so it's up to the unlikely Chris to rise up and save the day. Time will tell where Chris lands in the pantheon of best video game mascots.

According to the developer, Chris can up upgraded overtime to gain strength and abilities, learn powerful new techniques, and float and fall his way through 9 locations all over the world. The platformer also will come with additional game modes, developer commentary, and an in-depth backstory with tons of secrets to explore.

Adventures of Chris is headed to Nintendo Switch and PC sometime soon.
