Who will be the next James Bond has been on many peoples' minds, including singer and songwriter Adele. The Grammy Award winner has added her thoughts to the conversation, sharing that she believes Jonathan Majors should be the next 007.

Daniel Craig's tenure as James Bond came to an end with the release of No Time to Die, which definitively concluded this incarnation of the character's story. Just about everyone has a favorite actor as their choice for the next 007, but Adele's choice of Majors will likely surprise many.

In a recent "73 Questions with" interview for Vogue, Adele discussed her recently released fourth studio album, 30, and her previous history being a part of a Bond film (as she wrote the opening hit song for Skyfall that would go on to earn her the Academy Award for Best Original Song). She also delved deeper into the trending topic of who will be the next Bond following Craig's portrayal in five films. “I mean it’s a tough one. There’s been lots of different choices and stuff. But I would like Jonathan Majors to be the next Bond. But I don’t know if that’s allowed because he’s American,” she said when the interviewer asked her who she believes could fill the role.

Majors is surely a surprising pick, no doubt, considering other names such as Richard Madden, Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, and Regé-Jean Page are at the top of many fans' lists. But don't be mistaken, if his recent work is any indication, Majors most definitely has the skills to take on such an iconic character. The rising star is coming off critical success with his work in films like The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods, as well as the Jordan Peele produced HBO series Lovecraft Country. Majors stars in Netflix's Western The Harder They Fall (opposite Elba) and will also play the main antagonist in Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut, Creed 3.

But perhaps his most exciting role that is receiving plenty of buzz is as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Majors was first introduced in the season finale of Loki, playing the character known as He Who Remains, a variant of Kang. While Majors' version of the character seen in Loki was more high-spirited and eccentric, the version that will appear in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the eviler one who is bent on conquering all of space and time.

Although the actor was busy filming the Marvel role, the search for the next James Bond has not begun and will not for quite a while, so Majors may just find the right time to audition for the role of 007. As of now, though, fans can catch up on Craig's Bond era by watching films like Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time to Die.

No Time to Die is now playing in theaters and on digital platforms.
