It is a well-known fact that The Wolf of Wall Street has the highest number of swear words in a movie, clocking in at 715 cuss words, but the actor that swears the most isn't common knowledge. Unsurprisingly, the actor to take this record is Jonah Hill, who also starred in The Wolf of Wall Street.
Jonah Hill plays a lead role in that movie, which contributed to a lot of his cuss words, but other movies he stars in, such as Superbad. All total, a recent study shows that Hill has said a total of 376 swear words across his films.
Behind Hill's impressive 376 words is Leonardo DiCaprio, with 361 expletives. The list continues with Samuel L. Jackson (301 words), Adam Sandler (295 words), and Al Pacino (255 words). That said, Hill's character in The Wolf of Wall Street actually did not have the most number of cuss words, as DiCaprio's character claimed that award.
Hill was humorously thrilled about the report, publicly thanking Martin Scorsese on Twitter for "pushing him over the edge." Most would agree that this isn't exactly a record that looks to great on a resume, but Hill has embraced his new position wholeheartedly.
