Ace Combat Assault Horizon Aircraft List and New Screenshots

In the military world, the term "fast-mover" refers to any kind of jet airplane support. In Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, players will definitely have their pick of the litter when it comes to the kind of "fast-movers" they choose to employ in the various aerial exploits.

Below are a plethora of screenshots of some of the planes players will get to access. Some might be immediately recognizable, others not, but the fact of the matter remains - they're all very capable of blowing things up.

Not to just be limited to pretty pictures of planes, the official aircraft list for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon has also been released and the action will not just be limited to jets - but also helicopters, bombers, and of course, the AC-130 Spooky. This marks the first Ace Combat game that will be featuring other craft that aren't jet operated. The Namco-Bandai series has been delivering high-octane aerial combat again and again, and from the most recent Gamescom trailer, it will continue the tradition with Assault Horizon.

Also new to the series is a Dogfighting Mode that will ensure plane-to-plane combat is as exciting as possible and less arcade-like. Before we get to the screenshots, below is a list of confirmed aircraft players will be able to pilot in Assault Horizon.

Most people will probably feel a bit more excited regarding the inclusion of the Call of Duty famous AC-130 Spooky gunship - which allows the Air Force to rain down death from a very high altitude. How will Assault Horizon be handling the implementation of the craft will only be known in the final product, though.

The screenshots below will be focusing on four particular craft from that list: The F-22, the F-35, the F-117, and the PAK-FA, in that order.
