Big Ed and his new girlfriend Liz are reportedly engaged, soon to be married. Big Ed first appeared on the TLC show 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. After gaining a small amount of fame and taste for someone half his age, Big Ed is still chasing after women who are young enough to be his daughters. His first public relationship was with Rose, who is now just 25. But Big Ed showed audiences that there may be a reason he is single after all, and it has nothing to do with the way he looks.

When Big Ed and Rose’s relationship ended in a very unflattering way, the TLC star decided to take some time to himself to work on getting in shape with the help of a personal trainer, and he even got in touch with a dating coach to help him find his perfect match. Fans seemed to approve of Big Ed’s sudden turnaround and apparent dedication to becoming a better person inside and out. But then, on season 1 of the show 90 Day: The Single Life, Big Ed got with yet again another woman half his age named Liz, who was the manager of a restaurant and had also previously been married, and she too has a child of her own.

Big Ed and Liz’s relationship quickly turned out to be just as toxic as Ed’s last relationship, and the two split up after a nasty phone call surfaced on the internet (most likely recorded by Liz, who wanted to expose Big Ed’s true nature but also maybe to gain a bit of clout herself). Not long after the two broke up, rumors began spreading about the 90 Day couple getting back together. On September 8, the Instagram page tmz_tv posted a picture that proved Big Ed and Liz were back together, and they even looked quite happy. If fans look at Liz’s left hand, she is clearly wearing an engagement ring.

Fans of the show 90 Day Fiancé and other spin-off series don’t watch to see two people fall in love, they watch for the drama. And though there have been many tumultuous relationships featured, Big Ed seems to get the most attention. Fans have complained that the TLC star should be banned from the show because of how manipulative he is. There was even a petition to get him removed from 90 Day: The Single Life (which Liz reportedly signed herself). A man by the name of Saied Camacho, who claims to be Liz’s ex-husband, has been quoted saying the engagement is nothing more than Liz trying to be famous, and that she is just as desperate to be married as Big Ed is.

Apparently, during Ed and Liz’s breakup, Liz spent time at her ex-husband's house and begged him to remarry her. Liz is rumored to have stayed with Camacho for 6 months before getting back in contact with Big Ed, who took less than a week to convince Liz to get back together with him. The engagement rumors appear to be true, so it looks like fans of 90 Day: The Single Life will get at least another season of Big Ed and Liz drama.

90 Day: The Single Life is available to stream on Discovery Plus.
