For quite some time now, all fans of the PS5 have had to go off of is a holiday season release date. More likely than not, this means November, but fans are still pining for an official reveal of price and release date for the PS5. It's not exactly the answer most were looking for, but Truly Exquisite, a UK based luxury customizing brand, has an answer for players.

Starting September 10th, players will be able to place pre-orders for custom, 24 karat gold PS5s, but this luxury comes at a hefty price. Players will need to shell out about £8000 (approximately $10,400 USD), in order to get their hands on one of these machines, and that's the cheapest available option.

Truly Exquisite is also offering PS5 pre-orders in Rose Gold and Platinum, each more expensive than the last by about 100 Pounds. This no doubt sounds insane to some, but Truly Exquisite wouldn't still be in business if it couldn't sell these sorts of luxury tech upgrades to someone.

It's worth noting that nowhere in its listing does Truly Exquisite offer a release date for the actual PS5 or an estimate as to when the pre-orders will be fulfilled, indicating that either the retailer doesn't know or isn't allowed to say when the PS5 will release. Furthermore, the prices listed include a console, two DualSense controllers, and one 3D Pulse headset, but the base price will give players the digital version of the PS5. Players willing to spend this much money on a PS5 may as well spend the extra 100 Pounds to get the version with a disc drive, still in 24k Gold, 18k Rose Gold, or Platinum.

Truly Exquisite has revealed that it is only making 250 units per model, per finish, meaning all in total it will sell 1500 PS5s. Those interested in buying will need to act fast once the 10th rolls around as they are sure to sell out quickly despite their incredibly high price. Unfortunately, those that prefer to spend a more standard amount of money on their PS5s will have to wait and hope that they get an email for the limited PS5 pre-orders.

For most gamers this sort of thing is just a silly pipe dream, but it could be an indicator that an announcement from Sony might be on the way. There's no telling that for sure, as this could have been a completely independent endeavor, but it would be nice to get some more info about the actual PS5's release date and price.
