12 Minutes is a mind-bending adventure where players assume the role of a husband who comes back home to spend some valuable time with his wife only for his door to be broken down by a cop who proceeds to arrest both the wife and husband before choking the latter out. However, in a turn of events, the husband comes back to the beginning of the game where he steps into the apartment.
Thus ensues a riveting adventure game where the player must try and figure out the reason behind this time loop and why they are stuck in such a conundrum, to begin with. 12 Minutes' mystery is easily its driving force, with the player accomplishing several actions in a bid to find out how they can break this time loop. In this course of events, gamers can accomplish some pretty heinous actions that are quite hard to stomach for some. Here are ten such horrible acts that players can commit in the game.
10 Force The Wife To Relive Her Father's Death Over And Over Again

Over the course of 12 Minutes, players will find out the truth about the wife and the altercation she had with her father. According to her, she got into an argument with her father that resulted in her angrily grabbing a gun and shooting her father.
This is what the wife talks about right after being told that the player character is stuck in a time loop. It's a traumatic event that forces her to relive these harrowing events... and the player can make her do the same over and over again just to try out different choices and consequences post this realization. It's honestly rather hard to fathom after a point.
9 Stab The Wife
In a bid to keep the wife stationery, players can choose from a bevy of actions to incapacitate her. The sleeping pills are easily the most viable course of action in this regard.
However, if the player wants to do something truly extreme, then they can go so far as to stabbing their wife with the kitchen knife too. What makes this act even worse is that the husband becomes accustomed to killing the wife if the player keeps on repeating this action in every loop.
8 Get The Wife Beaten Up And Killed By The Cop
The watch that the cop seeks out in the game is a valuable piece of the puzzle. However, the husband tends to get choked out right before the location of this watch is revealed.
However, if the player decides to hide in the closet and watch the events play out, they'll find out that the watch is under the bathroom cabinet. It's just too bad that the wife gets beat up before the information comes out, with the cop going so far as to killing the wife after discovering this watch as well.
7 Let The Cop Kill The Wife And Force The Husband To Lie To The Police
One of the worst actions that the husband can carry out is adhering to the cop's demands and giving them the watch after discussing the scenario with them. However, things don't end there — the cop then goes so far as to ask the husband to leave the bedroom, before shooting the wife.
Following this chain of events, he forces the husband to call 911 and tell the cops that his wife had committed suicide too. The worst part is that all of this is ultimately for naught, with the time loop resetting anyway.
6 Electrocute The Wife
A great way to incapacitate the cop is by using the busted light switch in the bedroom against him. However, players should make sure that the wife doesn't end up triggering the switch by accident.
Doing so leads to her dying of electrocution, which ultimately proves to be a rather wasteful death. The trap that the husband sets for the cop is also busted, as a result.
5 Stab The Husband In Front Of The Wife

There are various ways to reset the loop in 12 Minutes. From walking out of the apartment to getting knocked out — the possibilities are truly endless.
However, the player can do something even worse to reset the loop — they can outright stab themselves. The intensity of this act can be worsened if the player chooses to stab themselves in front of the wife, which is just completely unnecessary.
4 Manipulate The Cop's Sick Child
The cop has a tragedy of his own that players can uncover after checking his phone. It turns out that his daughter has cancer and he's behind on his hospital payments.
In a bid to get rid of the cop, the player can call the cop's daughter and tell her about her father's activities. This forces the child to call her father and reprimand him, causing him to either leave the premises or get angry at the husband for going through such a cruel course of action.
3 Kill The Cop After Finding Out About His Daughter's Condition

By no means is the cop a sympathetic figure. However, the fact that his daughter has cancer is something that is quite unnerving to uncover regardless.
However, that won't stop a player from not sympathizing with this fact and killing the cop regardless. This is pretty barbaric, and the player should try and ideally discuss this situation with the cop instead.
2 Tell The Wife About The Whole Truth
There are major spoilers from this point onward.
The final twist of the game is that the husband is actually the wife's half-sibling, born out of an affair their father had with the nanny. This shocking reveal was discussed way before between the husband and his father, with the latter being outright against the union of his children and understandably so.
In an argument, the husband ends up shooting his father, which makes him the true murderer of the tale. If the player decides to reveal all the facts to the wife, then she understandably gets very upset and forces the husband to leave.
1 Stay With The Wife Even After Finding Out The Secret
At the end of the game, the player is given two choices — either leave his wife or continue this marriage even after finding out about this secret. The former is obviously the most logical course of action to take, given the incestuous nature of their relationship.
However, the player can choose to stay with his wife even after knowing this secret. It shouldn't take an expert to state how morally repugnant this choice really is.
