Dejobaan games announces their latest project 1...2...3...KICK IT! Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby. A game where players generate the world around them with their music.

Dejobaan Games, developers of AaaAAa!! A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, has announced its latest title 1... 2... 3...KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby). While Game Rant doesn't encourage dropping babies, we do highly encourage gamers to check out indie developers. Many times gamers will get a lot more bang for their buck with an indie title than with a full retail game.

1...2...3...KICK IT! plays similar to A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, though the main difference is that players will be the ones who create the world they're playing in. For those who have not experienced Dejobaan's previous title, here's a brief explanation: you plummet through the game world at a high rate of speed "hugging" and "kissing" nearby floating structures for points and building a multiplier. At the bottom is the finish line where players collect their high score.

Players will be able to add music from their personal library and the game uses the elements from the track to randomly generate the game world. To view the game in action check the trailer below:

Allowing the player to use their music to generate the world is an interesting concept, and can create a high level of re-playability depending on the musical tastes of the player. Gamers will no doubt spend hours experimenting with different genres of music exploring the results they produce.

Indie developers have been hitting the ground running this holiday season. Minecraft basically became an overnight success story and is currently in beta. Some developers also recently banded together to raise money for charity, raising well over half a million dollars with the Humble Indie Bundle #2. Dejobaan Games is planning on keeping the spotlight shined on the indie scene with this latest announcement.
