There are a lot of games scheduled to launch alongside Microsoft's Xbox One later this month and gamers that plan on picking up the shiny new console will have a hard time deciding which titles they'll be bringing home. Once they get back to their respective domiciles, setup the platform, and download the mandatory day one update, there may be a compulsive urge to pickup an additional game or five. Luckily, users can simply download any of the launch titles from the Xbox Games Store.
All of this sounds great in theory, and the Xbox One's 500GB hard drive can hold quite a bit of content, but gamers will have to be cautious with which games they choose to purchase at the digital storefront. As it turns out, certain pieces of next-gen software can take up a lot of memory. At least, this became instantly apparent when Moonlightswami, a gamer who got his Xbox One early as a result of a Target shipping error, posted a list featuring the file size of every available Xbox One launch title.

- NBA Live 14 — 9GB
- Powerstar Golf — 3.9GB
- Ryse: Son of Rome — 34GB
- Skylanders: Swap Force — 15GB
- Xbox Fitness — 246MB
- Zoo Tycoon — 2.6GB
- Zumba World Party — 24GB
Xbox One games will need to be installed on the platform's hard drive regardless of whether or not they're digitally purchased, but it's not currently known if brick-and-mortar copies will take a comparable chunk out of the system's memory. A safe bet would be that the retail version of Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox One won't take up a whopping 39GB of room, but Microsoft has yet to clarify whether or not this will be the case. The wait to find out shouldn't be that long though — especially since the console launches in less than two weeks.
