Watch Dogs Vigilante Edition Unboxing

With a little over a month until Watch Dogs (finally!) hits store shelves, Ubisoft has begun to significantly ramp up promotion for their upcoming open world title. They've given gamers a closer look at the world of Watch Dogs in the form of hands-on previews, detailed some platform exclusive content, and even provided a closer look at the game's version of Chicago.

Still, while it may feel like many of the essential nuts and bolts of Watch Dogs have been appropriately teased/detailed, there are a few peripheral elements worth taking a closer look at. One such piece of Watch Dogs news that has yet to be revealed by Ubisoft (until now), concerns the game's PC requirements, which we have for readers below.

Obviously, with Watch Dogs being a premiere next-gen experience the expectation is that the game would require a decent gaming rig, and the below specs confirm that. Sure, the minimum requirements suggest the game will run just fine on an average machine, but it's safe to assume most gamers will want Watch Dogs to look as close to the screenshots and trailers as possible.

Additionally, for those gamers who have already determined that their gaming rig is well suited for Watch Dogs, or for console gamers as well, we have a closer look at the game's uber exclusive Vigilante Edition. Check it out in the video below:

Exclusive to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, the Vigilante Edition of Watch Dogs offers a collector's bounty of trinkets including replicas of Aiden Pearce's hat and mask. The Vigilante Edition also includes an exclusive upgrade for Pierce that boosts his hacking ability.

While this Vigilante Edition is certainly a worthy entry among the must-have Limited Editions in recent memory, the North America-exclusive Watch Dogs Limited Edition is equally as cool. There aren't too many differences between the two, but the key one is that the Limited Edition trades the Aiden Pierce hat for a 9-inch Aiden Pierce statuette.

The good news is that gamers around the globe will have choices when it comes to their Watch Dogs purchase. It's also a smart move on Ubisoft's part considering Watch Dogs is one of this year's most anticipated releases. We certainly can't wait to get our hands on the game.

Are you thinking about buying one of the Limited Editions of Watch Dogs? How will your PC rig fare when running Watch Dogs?

Watch Dogs releases May 27, 2014 for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The Wii U version has been delayed to an unknown date.
