One gaming fan takes it upon himself to recreate the official trailer for Ubisoft's forthcoming action-adventure title, Watch Dogs 2, with elements of Full House's intro.

As many gaming fans are surely aware by now, Ubisoft made a formal announcement for Watch Dogs 2 yesterday with an official world premiere trailer, revealing the open world title's new protagonist named Marcus Holloway, myriad gameplay features, and its change from the initial entry's backdrop of Chicaco to a San Francisco setting. With this being the case, one video editor and YouTuber, Seth G. Macy, decided to take full advantage of the game's relocation to The Golden City by re-editing the original trailer to include snippets of footage and the theme song from the intro of the family sitcom Full House.

Per the Seth G. Macy's description of the clip on YouTube, he seems to be a fan of Watch Dogs 2, writing that it "looks great," but of course, there's always room for improvement. As the video editor postulates, "What if the main character was a widower raising 3 precocious daughters with the help of his brother-in-law and best friend from college? Now that's an open-world game I can get excited about."

As seen in the clip below, the mash-up of Watch Dogs 2 and Full House is arguably much stranger than the weird teaser released several days ago by Ubisoft, as the visuals in Seth G. Macy's creation mostly center on the action-adventure title's assets of a vibrant city on the brink of conflict while the TV show's wholesome theme song sets an hilariously bizarre tone. Not to mention, every once in a while, the footage will briefly cut to imagery from the sitcom with interspersed shots of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle Tanner playing with Comet, and the Tanner family having a picnic.

While the Watch Dogs 2 and Full House re-edit is certainly well made and contains a novel concept, this isn't the first time a fan has made a mash-up of two completely incongruous worlds. As it happens, there are a plethora to be found on YouTube, but one of the most off-the-wall recreations is certainly KrisK's Mario Kart and Mad Max: Fury Road mash-up trailer, which must be seen to be believed.

In any event, as far as Watch Dogs 2's actual materials are concerned, developers likely have even more to show off before its release this fall, as Ubisoft has promised the game will be present at E3 2016. Although the company's press conference is going to be hosted by actress and comedian Aisha Tyler, maybe developers will take a tongue-and-cheek approach and have one of the Full House cast members present Watch Dogs 2 at the event. Odder things have happened.

What did you think about Seth G. Macy's mash-up of Watch Dogs 2 and Full House? Do you think developers should take a cue from the YouTuber and put Easter eggs referencing the show in the game, like, say, Uncle Joey's ventriloquist dummy Mr. Woodchuck, or perhaps a nod to Jesse and The Rippers? Watch Dogs 2 is set to release on November 15, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
