The next season of Bohemia Interactive's looter shooter Vigor has arrived. The new season includes a fresh battle pass, new weapons, game changes, and more.

Vigor released in 2018 in early access and has continued to find its way on new platforms. The game is on Xbox consoles, recently released on the Switch and PS4, and Vigor is currently in development for the PS5. But as Bohemia Interactive continues to bring the game to other platforms, it also is updating Vigor with more content and game improvements, and that is what Season 7 brings.

Season 7: Mercenaries, which comes to the game today, brings a bevy of content to Vigor players. Three new weapons for Shootout are a part of the update, including the B93 Raffica, the M60E3, and the La Chiave. There is also a new widget for equipping weapon ammo.

Openable and lockable exits are also now spread throughout the map, giving players the opportunity to alter their path. Mortar strikes have also been added, which can be used as anti-camping devices. Players will also see a return to the Fisk Fabrikk map and a fresh battle pass that brings loads of new geat to Vigor. The update also includes quality, memory optimization, and gameplay enhancements, as Lead Programmer Johanny Clerc-Renaud claims that the team focuses on quality with the new season.

The post-apocalyptic world of Vigor is one of tense encounters. The gameplay allows players to build shelters and explore the world for vital equipment to survive. The wide range of challenges and various game modes, along with the ongoing content from Bohemia Interactive, help the game stake its claim as one of the better looter shooter games.

Vigor is available now on the Xbox One, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
