The Game Rant Guide: February 2013 Edition

Jan 27, 2013 by

Game Rant Monthly Game Guide February 2013 After a brief hiatus, Game Rant’s Monthly Game Guide is back! This month sees the release of long-awaited installments of several fan favorite series, as well as a few new IPs. The first week of February kicks off with Dead Space 3, which makes a bold step into action-shooter territory, while still attempting to keep its horror roots intact. Following that, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance puts players back into the shoes of Raiden, four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4. Crysis 3 also explodes onto the scene, a direct sequel of Crysis 2 that continues Prophet’s storyline.

  1. aliens and maybe crysis 3 for us (my brother and i).

march is the month i’m waiting for since it’s gonna be packed with games and movies.
tomb raider, devil’s cartel, bioshock, gi joe, bullet to the head and die hard 5 are all coming out across march which means i’m going ot be flooded with distractions and piss poor :P

    • you do know that die hard 5 comes out february 14th and bullet to the head releases next week

      • for the US it does, but not for where i live.

        • Ok, note to self, never live under a bridge because games come late there

          • wtf are you on about, we where talking about the movies coming out at different times. but there have been times which australia gets games after the US. do a little research before trying to mock someone.

          • @Jwalka, I was pointing out your occasional troll like comments. I apologize I assumed those were the videogames of the movies.

  2. … my feb in gaming will be devoted to the metal gear solid series until rising arrives. i got dead space 1 and 2 ages ago but i have not been in the mood or had time to play them but i will definitely soon.

  3. I’m waiting out for injustice and tomb raider. And my most anticipated is the last of us. So feb isn’t really my month.

Oh and MLB te show 13. And those will be my purchases for the year.

  4. ….looking forward to sly, fire emblem, and all stars….

  5. Why the hell hasnt GR mentioned the Dust 514 open beta yet? it is on the front page of the playstation store.

  6. Dead Space 3 and possibly Aliens if it’s worth a crap!

  7. “OK, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? It’s another glorious day in the Corps. A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade. I love the Corps!”

  8. No Metal Gear Rising or Crysis 3? Wow…. I actually saw Sly and MLB before these 2 great games…. Gaming is doomed for sure….
