The Game Rant Guide: June 2013 Edition

It’s been a long time coming, but Sony and Microsoft’s upcoming next-generation consoles have been (mostly) revealed. We’re only a few weeks out from E3 2013, where more gameplay and information about the PS4 and Xbox One will be announced. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the game releases for the month of June!

Kicking off the last leg of Q2 2013 is Mojang’s new IP Scrolls, unfolding onto PCs everywhere June 3rd. Capcom’s cyberpunk action title Remember Me releases on the 4th for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Marvel MMO Marvel Heroes also launches on the 4th, for Windows and Mac. On the 9th, Animal Crossing: New Leaf arrives on Western shores for the 3DS. The hotly anticipated post-apocalyptic The Last of Us makes its way exclusively to the PS3 on the 14th, and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two comes to life on the 18th for the PS Vita. Closing off the month is Game & Wario on the Wii U on the 23rd, and on the 25th are Company of Heroes 2 for Windows, and long-awaited Deadpool for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows.

E3 2013 notwithstanding, there’s a lot for gamers to look forward to in the month of June! Rest assured that when the event kicks off June 11th, Game Rant will be there to bring you all the news! In the meantime, what are you looking forward to the most? Personally, I can’t wait to sink my teeth into The Last of Us.

    last of us… i cannot wait.

    i have no doubt it will be game of the year. its like sony said to ND to put EVERYTHING into this last game because this is the best looking console game out there. its AI is fantastic and the characters, i am already invested into the characters from the demo at e3 and the most recent one.

    i think thats it. thats the last game i get until the next gen. ive been saving my money the past couple months and have £400. hopefully it doesnt go into the £500 but im probably getting another controller and at least (hopefully) 3 games. WatchDogs, Infamous, Drive Club and maybe cod

    since i’m on a tight budget this year (screw you uni) i’m only going to be getting splinter cell, watch dogs, maybe the lego marvel game and maybe the tmnt XBLA game (if it gets good reviews). should keep my busy christmas holidays :)

    I played the Marvel Heroes Beta… it was alright. Nothing to get too excited over, though.
