One of the best things to have available, as an active consumer, is the ability to try before you buy. For gamers, this translates to the ability to download and test out games in the form of demos – the latest of which comes in the form of UFC Undisputed 3. Fight fans can download the official demo for the third instalment in the UFC video game series via Xbox Live or PSN beginning as of right now, and there’s plenty of content to keep gamers busy and brawling.
Currently in the Undisputed 3 demo, players have the option to choose either current light heavyweight champion Jon Jones or current middleweight champ Anderson Silva in what many would consider a dream match. Those previously mentioned fighters are only available to play as in a UFC fight. Legendary rivals Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson (narrator for the recent UFC Undisputed 3 career mode trailer) and Wanderlei Silva, on the other hand, can once again go head-to-head, but only in PRIDE.
You can get a general idea of what to expect from the PRIDE side of the UFC Undisputed 3 demo below.
UFC Undisputed 3 certainly has a visual flair and from the in-game videos and our hands-on experience with the title, fun gameplay is a given for the final package. As with all sports games, however, the accuracy of stats within the game hold a certain value amongst fans. THQ is confident that they’ve nailed the in-octagon prowess of UFC’s fighters, so much so that they’ve actually made a prediction regarding who will win in the upcoming Davis vs. Evans match-up on FOX. The results can be found below.
With addictive gameplay, brutally realistic animations, and an authentic audio experience, UFC Undisputed 3 is aiming to offer the quintessential martial arts video game experience.
UFC Undisputed 3 hits Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 14th.
