High Moon Studios has released a new full-length trailer for the upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron game. The game looks like a lot of fun, but with Peter Cullen voicing Optimus Prime, I’m actually looking forward to the character piece here as well.
There should be some Transformers video game firsts for fans as well considering the game takes place on Cybertron, what is essentially a giant robotic planet in the middle of a no holds barred robotic war! The full trailer includes the little clips we saw in the War for Cybertron teaser trailer but gives us a lot more!
The trailer depicts some great action and some pretty good CG robots. It culminates with the reveal of some building sized Transformers, one of which may be Omega Supreme. It’s a pretty tasty trailer and die hards will be happy to hear the classic “one shall stand, one shall fall” line that still gets cheered no matter how tired it’s become over the last 20 years.
The game will feature two campaigns – an Autobot campaign where the player attempts to save the planet as well as a Decepticon campaign where you’ll try to subjugate it. The game will also feature co-op and various head-to-head multiplayer game modes. And of course, in addition to the cool Cybertronian visuals, fans will be able to manipulate the Transformers in their original Cybertronian robotic and vehicle forms.

Looked pretty dang cool..
I still wish they'd focus these games on an excellent single player campaign – very cinematic similar to Uncharted 2 or Gears of War 2. It could be such a unique and engaging experience.
Instead, I'm sure the majority of the action is going to be similar to previous Transformer titles – mini-sandbox arena battles with tacked on objectives.
The trailer looks great but gives absolutely no indication of what the actual game is going to play like. Everything I've heard so far doesn't give me much reason to believe the title is going to be much better than its predecessors.

providing they do a good job on the multiplayer this game should be a hit, making the character to there original form should make the game appeal to even the oldest gamers.
Looks pretty cool, I won't make my mind up till I see some gameplay though.
The idea of co-op is pretty awesome and something like this – if done right – has loads of potential for fans old and new.
I like the new vehicle designs. Looks like melee will become more important, judging by Megatron's mace and optimis' axe. Finally, NO SHIA LEBOUF!!!
This could be the best transformers game of all time, mainly because earth is not a good enviroment for building a game that features giant rampaging robots. Cybertron is a much better (and cooler) setting.
The more I think about it, an MMO for this would be pretty awesome. It would have limitless opportunities and ways for upgrading your character in terms of physical shape, designs, movies, transformations, weapons, etc.
