There’s no telling which other third-party characters will make it into the next game, and that’s assuming that there will be any at all. Sakurai has just recently informed gamers that he’s focusing less on roster size and more on quality, so there won’t be much room for newcomers. Of course there will be new fighters (it’s the largest appeal of a new instalment after all), and we can’t wait to see if any of the famed third-party mascots we made mention of will appear.

As the set of Smash Bros. games progresses further and further in their respective development cycles, we can’t help but be excited for the final products.

Isaac from Golden Sun is still my #1 even though you mentioned it. I mean come on! I wanna see a Ragnarok in SB, Chrono from Chrono Trigger, Knuckles, Lance and Bill from Contra, OR one of my favorites… a Red Wizard from Gauntlet, then you could totally add in a voice to say RED WIZARD NEEDS FOOD! when his % gets too high!

I honestly would like NiGHTS to make an appearance, though Bomberman is awesome, too. Yeah, NiGHTS’s last game was kind of lacking, but this could be a good point to make a come-back.
Maybe some more forms for Kirby, maybe Ball Kirby as an alternate costume or character (considering having no limbs)?
