YouTuber Arekkz reveals the details behind three of the new gear sets players will find in the Underground DLC expansion coming later this month for The Division.

As seen at E3 earlier this week, Tom Clancy's The Division is getting its first major expansion later this month with the Underground DLC, which plans to take players down into the maze like structures of the New York City subways. Like the previous two free updates, Underground will introduce four new gear sets for players to collect, and three of them have just been revealed.

YouTuber Arekkz has put together a handy video showcasing the first three gear sets players will find along their travels in The Division after his hands on session at the UBiLounge. The gear sets with this expansion don't appear to be centered around specific play styles, instead each offers new and interesting perks for players to experiment with.

The B.L.I.N.D. set provides players with bonus pulse damage, 100% Blind/Deaf Resistance, and if the player has at least four pieces equipped, then killing a target will create a flashbang effect at that position. The FireCrest set focuses on incindiary ammunition, increasing carrying capacity, enhancing reload speed, and the ultimate perk gives players incendiary bullets for 10 seconds after killing a burning target. Finally, FrontLine should be a favorite set for Ballistic Shield users. The set not only increases Ballistic Shield health and damage resistance, but the ultimate perk allows the use of an equipped SMG while Ballistic Shield is deployed.

Interestingly enough, Ubisoft has not revealed the fourth gear set as of yet. Speculation has started to form around what this set could be with many believing this mysterious set to be primarily found and sold in the Dark Zone.

The Underground trailer wasn't the only piece of Division news to come out of the Monday E3 press conferences. Surprisingly, Ubisoft revealed a trailer for the second paid expansion known as Last Stand showing a Division agent trying to survive harsh winter weather following a helicopter crash in enemy territory. Not much else was revealed about the content, but it appears that the content will challenge players to find resources and hold out for as long as possible while fending off enemies.

Which armor set above is your favorite? Are you excited to venture into the underground depths of New York City? Feel free to sound off in the comments below.

Tom Clancy's The Division is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Underground expansion launches exclusively for Xbox One and PC on June 28, followed by PlayStation 4 on August 2.
