Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to give players quite the thrill ride with its cast of playable anti-heroes. Before that though, the new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League art shows off what Superman will be seeing during his last moments in the game.

When Rocksteady announced its newest project to be Kill the Justice League, fans embraced the project with swarms of excitement but also some clouds of worry. Rocksteady proved themselves a powerhouse of a development team with its Batman Arkham games, which in one fell swoop, provided a great gaming experience that felt true to the character and world of Batman. However, Suicide Squad itself had gathered a rather mixed reputation generally-speaking, in part of the lackluster 2016 film; the initial trailer for Kill the Justice League offered a glimpse at Rocksteady's vision, but it was admittedly still difficult to truly see where it was headed.

Suicide Squard: Kill the Justice League released a new image, givings fans another look at the game's playable characters. "Look what we have here..." the post starts, before plugging the game's upcoming appearance at the DC Fan Dome event on October 16 at 10:00am PT. The image features the clever crosshair-like Kill the Justice League logo, with Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang posted on around it, looking down at the camera. The last time Kill the Justice League appeared was its original reveal trailer in 2020.

The orientation of the image makes some of its finer details a bit harder to take in, but it is still a great look at Kill the Justice League's characters. From what can be seen, none of the game's character designs have changed much, if at all, everyone still looking as they did in that original trailer. However, Harley Quinn's trusty bat from that trailer has been replaced with what appears to be a club lined with barbed wire. Perhaps it is an upgraded version of her base bat, or is simply a total redesign.

Truthfully, this image is just the teaser for the DC Fan Dome in October. Not only will Kill the Justice League be there, but also Gotham Knights, the upcoming live-service game starring Batman's sidekicks and apprentices. Gameplay has been shown for Gotham Knights, but not Kill the Justice League, so hopefully the DC Fan Dome is where it will finally happen.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
