While Starbreeze Studio's new CEO, Mikael Nermark, would not reveal any real info about the studio's Project RedLime for EA, he did say it is the biggest project the studio has ever worked on. While Starbreeze might not be the largest studio around, its past projects like Riddick and The Darkness were certainly fun and showed how capable the studio is.

Some rumors have suggested that Project Redlime is in fact a Syndicate remake. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen but this certainly could be a a very big project if it is the case. Bigger, however, is not necessarily better. While Starbreeze did great work on Riddick and The Darkness, it remains to be seen how they will handle their biggest project ever. Starbreeze's last EA game turned out to be the canceled Jason Bourne game.

While Starbreeze certainly should not take the entire blame for the canceled Bourne game, it does raise at least a few questions. What went wrong? What has changed since then? What are the chances that Project RedLime might suffer the same fate? Is Project RedLime in fact a Syndicate remake or rather some other licensed game like Riddick and The Darkness that came before it?

Hopefully the studio is staffed appropriately and able to handle Project RedLime's size and that the studio does not sink under the project's weight. The Titanic was big too but that did not mean things ended well for the ill-fated ship.

What is your take on Starbreeze tackling a big project for EA? Do you think it is in fact a Syndicate remake or do you think Project RedLime it is some other licensed game? Do you think Starbreeze and EA will release more information at this year's E3? What would you like to see in a Syndicate remake? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
