The annual Spike Video Game Awards show is coming soon and will once again feature a number of exclusive reveals. Fans of Metal Gear Solid and Transformers: War for Cybertron will be in for a treat. The first full-length trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will debut on the show, and Hideo Kojima himself will reveal the "truth" about Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Transformers: War for Cybertron was a big success for developer High Moon Studios, and the anticipation for Fall of Cybertron couldn't be any greater — especially with the appearance of Grimlock in the first teaser trailer! With Dinobots now in the mix, this new trailer could be incredible — much like the first trailer for War for Cybertron. Fall of Cybertron's release is set for next year, and one can only hope that more fan favorites will be introduced before then!

Word on Metal Gear Solid: Rising has been hush hush (not even a sneak peak during this year's E3), but Hideo Kojima will be making a grand appearance at the Spike VGAs to present new information on the next MGS installment. Hopefully, he will confirm (or deny) whether or not MGS: Rising will release in 2012.

The last anyone had seen or heard about Metal Gear Solid: Rising was at 2010's E3 conference when the bloody and violent "Zan Datsu" trailer premiered. Metal Gear has always been a pretty extreme game, but with players able to cut limbs and torsos at will and at any angle, there is bound to be more blood in Rising than any previous game in the series. It was also revealed last Fall that MGS: Rising will not have many returning characters.

Whatever comes from Kojima's appearance on the VGAs, fans are loaded with questions: What is the nature of the game's story? When will the game release? Will Snake return? Is this an on-going plotline from the original series, or is this an entirely new branch of the universe? Hopefully, Kojima will answer all of these questions and more at this year's show, but for now we will just have to wait in anticipation.

Be sure to tune in Saturday, December 10 at 8 PM Eastern / 5 PM Pacific to see these exclusives, along with the Alan Wake's Night Springs trailer and more at the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards!
