Leaker Millie A has hyped up Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games, saying that the game is exceeding expectations and gameplay will be shown soon. Spider-Man 2 was first announced in September 2021, but fans haven't seen it since. However, if Millie A's information is accurate, it seems as though Spider-Man fans will get to see the long-awaited sequel again sooner rather than later.

Taking to Twitter, Millie A said that Spider-Man 2 on PS5 is "exceeding expectations for Marvel higher-ups" and that the graphics are so impressive that one employee thought they were actually watching a cut-scene. Millie A ended her tweet by saying that Spider-Man 2 gameplay will be shown soon, but stopped short of providing specifics on that front.

While Millie A did not reveal exactly when Spider-Man 2 gameplay will be shown, it's possible that it could be as early as this month. Persistent rumors have suggested that Sony is prepping its annual PlayStation Showcase for some time later this month, and if that comes to pass, one has to imagine that Spider-Man 2 would be a likely candidate for the event. Sony has not actually announced that any such event is taking place, though, so fans should definitely keep their expectations in check before getting too excited.

Of course, fans should always take "leaked" information with a grain of salt, and the same goes for the claims made by Millie A. However, it should be pointed out that Millie A has a solid track record when it comes to sharing inside information. Millie A has accurately leaked information about PlayStation announcements in the past, like when she teased Insomniac's Wolverine game before its announcement, so it stands to reason that she could have legitimate information on Spider-Man 2.

As far as Spider-Man 2 itself goes, there's not a lot that fans know about the game beyond what was shown in its initial reveal trailer. The trailer established that the game will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as Spider-Man, fighting crime together in the streets of New York City, while also dealing with the emergence of iconic villain Venom. More specific details on the game's story, gameplay, etc. have yet to be revealed, but the original set up plenty of interesting plot threads that could be explored in the sequel. Needless to say Spider-Man 2 should have plenty to work with when the game launches next year.

Spider-Man 2 is in development for PS5.
