Skyrim Collectors Edition

The number of items players get in the Skyrim Collector's Edition might seem small, but the container it will come in is anything but. Revealed in a recently released picture straight from Bethesda, the box will be gargantuan sized (D&D players will know how big that is), and rightfully so: there's a dragon inside it.

Hot on the heels of news that a massive army of Nords is headed to game retailers comes proof that the Skyrim Collector's Edition will be big enough to mount on your wall as a prize all its own. (If needed, refresh your memory on the contents of the Collector's Edition and see what the large box houses.) Obviously, the dragon statue will be taking up a majority of the space within, but such a majestic beast requires much space to be comfortable. In fact, it will be sure to be more comfortable sitting on your desk, waiting to intimidate or enthrall those who pass by.

Skyrim is already garnering a lot of attention from fans and news outlets alike. The long awaited sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (one of the best games you didn't have to play to the ending) is causing many people water at the mouth, and Bethesda's not shy about promoting it any way possible -- even if it means sharing a picture of the size of the box.

Below, check out the image and see how it even triumphs over Bethesda's senior brand manager, Erin Losi.

Unfortunately, dragons will not be one of the races you will be able to marry.

In two glorious months, Skyrim will be unleashed upon the gaming public and start to chip away portions of everyone's lives little by little. There's little question that the game should be amazing, so the only real question remaining is: how many of you will actually see the credits?

Skyrim releases November 11, 2011, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
