Sam and Max Save the World, which was initially known as Sam and Max: Season One, was one of the earliest titles that put developer Telltale Games on many people’s radars. Many fans and media outlets consider Telltale’s Sam and Max episodes as some of the studio’s best work. Now, players who may have missed this excellent adventure series are getting a chance to play it with a brand new coat of paint. Skunkape Games released an official trailer for Sam and Max Save the World Remastered earlier today alongside a release date of December 2.

Sam and Max Save the World Remastered features all six of Season One’s episodes completely remastered in one package. The game’s Steam page also includes an interesting tidbit about the game’s development saying, “a small group of the original developers” created the game “with the blessing of Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell.” Though Telltale Games has made a comeback recently as a publisher, many of the studios original developers have since split up and created studios of their own. One of those studios is Skunkape Games, meaning Sam and Max Save the World Remastered is undoubtedly in good hands.

Sam and Max Save the World Remastered releases on December 2 for PC and Nintendo Switch.
