This year at CES, Sony announced that it will be offering up some big-name titles in 3D. Yes, that’s right, 3D! Some of our favorite games of past will be brought back to life by the magical addition of a 3rd dimension.
Games like Super Stardust HD, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, and, maybe most anticipated of all, LittleBigPlanet are all expected to receive updates that will allow them to take advantage of enhanced presentation technologies.

Yesterday at Evolution Studios, the developer of Motorstorm, allowed a select group of attendees to get a sneak peek at all this 3D goodness with a selection of both playable and non-playable demos.
Maybe I am still warm from the glow of Pandora but Sackboy seems like the perfect fit for a 3D title. It may even make playing LittleBigPlanet a little easier – allowing for greater clarity when navigating the game’s multiple planes.
Sony has declined any comment on exactly which titles will be released with 3D enhancements; however, several upcoming PS3 firmware updates, scheduled for release this summer, include both 3D movie and gaming functionality.
Make sure to check back later today for a feature article discussing the reemerging 3D craze and what it could mean for gaming.
Are there any other games you would like to see in 3D? Is 3D gaming something that even interests you?
