Just in case you’ve been looking to get your Resident Evil fix somewhere other than in a couple of on-rail shooters, Capcom has announced they will be releasing Resident Evil Zero for the Nintendo Wii under the Resident Evil Archives line.
If you don’t remember, Resident Evil Zero was the last of the Resident Evil games to use the original turn and run control style and focus more on the survival aspect and less on the action that would later be seen in Resident Evil 4 and 5. Originally Released on the Gamecube in 2002, the game serves as a prequel to the original resident evil storyline. You play through as rookie S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers and escaped convict, Billy Coen, as they unravel some of the origin of the ever shady Umbrella Corporation.
Resident Evil Zero has been retooled to feature support for the Wii Remote control and joins the already revamped Resident Evil Archives release of the first Resident Evil game in the seemingly ever growing Resident Evil Wii family.
I personally would love to see some of the original Resident Evil games remade with modern graphics and the RE4/5 controls, how about you?
