Netflix has released the latest trailer for its upcoming action-comedy Red Notice, which offers a look at some never-before-seen footage from the film. Some of the best action scenes are featured in the trailer, promising a gripping experience for viewers. But, that’s not all, as the trailer also confirms that the movie will be receiving a limited theatrical release prior to premiering on the streaming service.

Red Notice will be arriving on Netflix on November 12, but it has now been confirmed that it will be showing at select theaters from November 5. While the Red Notice plot was previously revealed, the latest trailer offers the best look at it. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot in lead roles. They will be joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopoulos in supporting roles.

The latest trailer for Red Notice shows FBI agent John Hartley, played by Johnson, asking a famous art thief Nolan Booth, portrayed by Reynolds, to help him track down “the most wanted art thief in the world.” The latter turns out to be Gadot’s Sarah Black, a.k.a. The Bishop. As it turns out, Black frames Hartley for a crime that he didn’t commit, which leads to an Interpol Red Notice being issued on his name. Black is then forced to team with Booth in trying to clear his name, but the journey is filled with action, multiple bad guys, and a lot of unintentional humor, courtesy of Reynolds.

Gadot looks stunning and effortlessly partakes in some hand-to-hand combat against the two actors. It isn't very surprising, as she has been a part of several action sequences in the Wonder Woman franchise. The Red Notice trailer is filled with car chases, shattering glass, and exploding vehicles. Netflix is referring to the upcoming movie as its “most action-packed film ever,” and they might just be right.

This isn’t the first Netflix film receiving a theatrical release, though. Several of the streamer's films have had limited theatrical runs in the past. Earlier this year, Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead was given the same treatment. While the film premiered on Netflix on May 21, it was released in select theaters on May 14. It was screened at a total of around 600 theaters in the USA alone.

Red Notice premieres in select theaters on November 5, and on Netflix on November 12, 2021.
