Psychonauts 2: All Nuggets of Wisdom, Memory Vaults, and Half-A-Minds in Hollis' Hot Streak

Psychonauts 2 has plenty of collectibles to find throughout its various worlds, including Emotional Baggage, PSI Cards, and Supply Chests. However, three of the most crucial trinkets players will be keeping an eye out for during their time with the game are Nuggets of Wisdom, Memory Vaults, and Half-A-Minds.

Although Raz will encounter all three Psychonauts 2 collectibles in nearly every mind, his first proper experience hunting them is during the Hollis' Hot Streak level, where Double Fine begins hiding them in sneakier places that will likely slip under the player's radar on their first time through. So, for those struggling to find every Nugget of Wisdom, Memory Vault, and Half-A-Mind, here's where Raz can grab every single one while making his way through Hollis Forsythe's brain.

Nuggets of Wisdom

There are four Nuggets of Wisdom to be found throughout Hollis' Hot Streak and players will have to return to the level with skills acquired later in the game to snag them all. They'll be easy to see, glowing gold and taking the form of the hospital's logo.

The first Nugget of Wisdom can be found after Raz exits the ambulance towards the beginning of the mission. From here, players will be able to use Mental Connection to make their way to the rooftop of the hospital entrance. The Nugget of Wisdom can be found atop the neon emergency sign.

The second Nugget of Wisdom can be found in the Records section. Players will unlock the area after Raz is kicked out of the Highroller Suite and tossed into the Morgue after he encounters Hollis. Enter Records and follow the path all the way to the end to find a desk with a giant painting behind it. Burn the painting using Pyrokinesis to reveal a secret room containing the second Nugget of Wisdom.

The next two Nuggets of Wisdom will require players to return with more advanced powers. The first will depend on the player having maxed out the Mental Connection power, which can only be done when Raz reaches rank 30. Once they've purchased the power, players can head over to the Pharmacy Backroom and make their way through the platforming section until they reach its first trampoline. After bouncing off the trampoline, look up to find several dark thought chains. Using the upgraded Mental Connection power, players can traverse these thoughts and grab the third Nugget of Wisdom.

The final Nugget of Wisdom can only be grabbed when players acquire the Projection skill much later in the game. Once they've got the ability, the trinket can be found in Cardiology. To locate it, players should head right at the main bar, walking through a set of glowing double doors. Head to the back of the room to find a locked door with a Nugget of Wisdom trapped behind it.

Half-A-Minds

Much like the Nuggets of Wisdom, there's a total of four Half-A-Minds lying around Hollis' flashy casino hospital. They can all be grabbed during Raz's initial trip to his mentor's brain, requiring no additional powers acquired later in the game.

The first two Half-A-Minds can be found in the very first area of the level. When spawning in, Raz will enter a fractured version of Hollis' classroom, with the desks forming a pathway the hero can use to reach a platform in the center of the room. Players should head to this platform and look straight to the left to find the first brain. The space between the two platforms is too far to jump, so use Mental Connection to get to it.

Return to the central platform and look up to the right to see a second Half-A-Mind. It's on a much higher platform but can be accessed the exact same way as the first brain, with players able to use Mental Connection to reach it.

Half-A-Mind number three can be found in the Maternity Backroom. About halfway through the platforming section, players will have to dodge through rotating poker chips using Mental Connection. After moving past the first set of chips, players will find a Half-A-Mind on a floating dice to their right.

The final Half-A-Mind is the trickiest of the four. Players will come across it in the Cardiology Backroom area. After the first electrified platform section, players will walk through a large doorway with a neon heartrate sign above it. After walking through this entrance, immediately look left to see a booth curving around the corner. It should have a figment on it. Jump to the booth and follow it around to find the last Half-A-Mind.

Memory Vault

There's only one Memory Vault to find in Hollis' Hot Streak and it's located within the Doctor's Only section of the Morgue. Enter the area and follow the path until it ends. Players will come across the Memory Vault at the end of the path, giving them access to some new story details regarding Hollis and her former mentor, Dr. Potts.
